On Thursday, August 31 at 5 pm Marcela Benavides will be talking through our YouTube channel about the progress in inclusive education processes as established in decree 1421 of the Ministry of Education.

Marcela is a Political Scientist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogotá with an emphasis on Political Participation. He has a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Salamanca. Mother of María Paz and Helena. He is an activist for the rights of people with disabilities.

She was director of the National Institute for the Deaf INSOR, from where she led the issuance of decree 1421. Currently, she is pursuing a specialization in Education of People with Disabilities at the University of Córdoba, in Argentina. He is currently a member of our board of directors.
