Proyecto Universidad Libre de Colombia<\/h1>\n

Fundamentados en los compromisos adquiridos por Colombia, como pa\u00eds parte que aprob\u00f3 la Convenci\u00f3n Sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad CDPCD, mediante la ley 1346 del 13 de diciembre de 2006, y seg\u00fan lo contemplado en el art\u00edculo 8\u00b0, de este tratado internacional,\u00a0 LICA, y\u00a0 la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Libre de Colombia de la ciudad en Bogot\u00e1, adelantan el proyecto “Barreras de acceso que afectan la dignidad humana de las personas con TEA y sus familias”.<\/p>\n

During the year 2020, we made progress in carrying out focus groups with people with autism and with families from 10 cities in Colombia (Barranquilla, Bogot\u00e1, Cartagena, Cali, C\u00facuta, Duitama, Medell\u00edn, Pereira, Bucaramanga and Villavicencio).<\/p>\n

Profamilia project<\/h1>\n

\n\t\tProject:<\/strong> Promote the quality of life and the sexual and reproductive rights of people with disabilities in Colombia.\n\t<\/h3>\n\t

Since 2015, we have been in this project led by PROFAMILIA and partner organizations such as PAIIS \u2013 Action Program for Equality and Social Inclusion and ASDOWN \u2013 Colombian Down Syndrome Association. We are currently working on the third stage, which will be extended to the cities of Barranquilla, Bogot\u00e1, Bucaramanga and Manizales, where we have the support of family organizations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\nEn el marco del proyecto hemos desarrollado diferentes instrumentos como: curso virtual, cartilla de apoyos para ser usada en la ruta de atenci\u00f3n que tiene Profamilia y la investigaci\u00f3n “Prevenci\u00f3n y abordaje de la violencia sexual en personas con discapacidad desde un enfoque de determinantes sociales”. \nDuring the time of the project, people with intellectual and psychosocial disabilities in the cities of Bogot\u00e1, Barranquilla, Cali, Bucaramanga and Manizales have been positively impacted.\n

\n\t\tPROJECT: Genetic Heterogeneity of Autism\n\t<\/h3>\n\t

El Centro de Investigaciones Gen\u00e9ticas en Enfermedades Humanas (CIGEN) de la Universidad de los Andes, desde el a\u00f1o 2011, est\u00e1 llevando a cabo el proyecto “Heterogeneidad Gen\u00e9tica del Autismo”, en colaboraci\u00f3n con La Liga Colombiana de Autismo, La Cl\u00ednica Monserrat y la Fundaci\u00f3n Santaf\u00e9. El prop\u00f3sito de este proyecto es\u00a0acercarnos a la comprensi\u00f3n de posibles factores relacionados con el trastorno del espectro autista (TEA), y en este caso queremos evaluar factores gen\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n

LICA's role in the project is the application of the ADIR and ADOS tests, which is carried out by certified professionals for this purpose. These instruments are considered key in the clinical and research evaluation of ASD.<\/p>\n

The ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised): is a structured interview that is applied to parents, which covers topics from the history of the complete development of the child or young person, and the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule): it deals with of a semi-structured assessment in which the child or young person develops various activities or tasks that allow observing the social behavior and communication of the child or young person.<\/p>\n

\n\t\tPROJECT: Humanity & Inclusion\n\t<\/h3>\n\t

Technical Assistance to the Colombian Coalition for the Implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in its promotion work, preparation of the Alternative Report and recommendation in the context of the pandemic.<\/p>\n

With this project, the entities involved, in particular the Colombian Coalition for the Implementation of the United Nations Convention, recognize the condition that the context of the COVID-19 pandemic has generated for people with disabilities, and with a view to carrying out monitoring and follow-up on compliance with the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities2, and consider it essential to have technical assistance for the preparation of the Second Alternative Report. Under this premise, the LICA - Colombian Autism League and the Observatory on the Convention of the Master's Degree in Disability and Social Inclusion - MADIS of the National University of Colombia, decided to work together to lead this project during the months of October 2021 to January 2022. These organizations were assigned the execution of this project, among other aspects, taking into account that they have been active members with experience in the construction of the first alternative report of 2016.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"proyecto\"\n\t
